BA (Hons) Digital Media Design

The BA (Hons) Digital Media Design at The One Academy develops creative and technical capability for designing contemporary digital experiences. The programme combines practice-based design work with theory-led learning across areas such as web-based content, social media systems, immersive media, extended reality and experiential design. Students are encouraged to explore how people interact with digital platforms and environments while building visual, conceptual and technology-related skills for a fast-changing creative industry. Project work supports experimentation, problem solving and the development of a personal design perspective, with an emphasis on using current digital tools and approaches to communicate ideas effectively. The programme is suited to students who want to work at the intersection of design, media and emerging technology and who are interested in creating interactive, screen-based or immersive experiences.
