The BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Design at The One Academy focuses on the creative improvement of existing and new buildings, interiors and spatial environments. Students develop knowledge and design skills for understanding how people interact with space and how material, environmental, functional, sensory and cultural factors shape the experience of a place. The programme encourages students to research specific contexts, identify user needs and translate ideas into thoughtful spatial solutions. Learning combines creative exploration with the practical and technical considerations required to communicate interior architecture and design proposals effectively. It is suited to students who are interested in shaping residential, commercial or other built environments and who want to understand how interior spaces can improve usability, meaning and quality of life through considered planning, design development and spatial decision-making.
